| Although this was called a simple composite it was not so simple. I found a video of a flame online, but I had to create a rotoshape to maske out the background. I also animated that matte to make the fire look as if it were changing shape throughout the video. I then performed a one point match move on my thumb to track where the flame should go. I used a move2d and some timing nodes to make the flame start where it should and be smaller so it looked like flame was in my hand. |
